Mary Klak – Czary Mary
Czary Mary (Spells and Hexes) is a new party-formula by Mary Klak, Szczecin-based journalist, radio presenter, whose passion is with sounds – unobvious and exceptional. At Tuesday parties you’ll hear nu-jazz, film score, downtempo and chillouts – first love of ms Klak. Among the artists Mary will play you’ll hear those released by Ninja Tune, Tru Thoughts or Sonar Kollektiv, among electronic twists and turns those from Pets Recordings and Your Mama’s Friend. As for the Polish scene, big time jazz- and mad-men will sound, among them Jazzpospolita, Pink Freud, Fox and Niechęć. There’ll also be sounds with good lyrics: Peszek, Mikromusic, Koteluk. Finally, Mary Klak will pay her respect to the legends: Komeda, Nino Rota, Henry Mancini, Kurylewicz.
10 / 17 / 24 / 31 July (Wednesdays), 18:00
Artur Szyszkowski - Mixmasta Tatowski
Mixmasta Tatowski is known for his work at Szczecin’s radio stations, especially at the legendary ABC radio. Ska, rock steady, reggae and more, are what we will hear at his Wednesday’s evenings in the Garden.
11 / 25 July (Thursdays), 20:00

Urban Gardening Workshop
The second gardening workshop in „Neighbor’s Garden” will be a 4-day meeting of participants from Poland and Germany, during which they’ll learn about the functioning of urban gardens in wider social context, about strategies of cooperation with local government and community, but also will perfect their knowledge concerning community urban gardening, partly during theory-part, and partly through work in the garden. This workshop will be lead by experts from nomadisch grün e.V. and schloss broellin e.V.
14 July (Sunday), 16:00
Summer with Veganism – vegan cooking show
Meetings with Veganism is a monthly event during which we discuss the vegan life-style, its ethics, about ecology and health; while drinking tea in a good company we share our activist experiences and together we search for answers to important questions.
This time it’s time for vegan cuisine!
18 July (Thursday), 18:00
Documentaries with Basta
Basta – Szczecin’s Initiative for Animals – would like to invite you to watch and discuss documentaries concerning animal-rights, ecology and veganism. This time we will screen „Peacable Kingdom. The Journey Home” – movie about people who grew up in countryside, about farmers who question and change the basic countryside principles, principles of animal farmers. Next we will watch „One Man’s Way: a Peter Singer Documentary About Henry Spira”, in which philosopher Peter Singer tells the story of one of the best known animal rights advocate – Henry Spira.
19 July (Friday), 21:00
DŻEM SESSION
Neighborhood Garden DŻEM SESSION is a meeting of great musicians from Szczecin, from variety of genres and different music groups. The atmosphere at our DŻEM SESSIONs, which is so great we miss words to describe it, is due to at least three things: (*) the quality guaranteed by the co organizers of the event, namely music band CHANGO (with Borys Sawaszkiewicz, Maciej Kałka, Kuba Fiszer and Szymon Drabkowski) and their guests, (**) the Garden’s landscape, where vegetable-beds, yurt, express-way and the castle coexist in harmony, and (***) the all-night-long bonfire.
Of course, as during each jam session, the stage is open to all musicians – just bring your instruments and come to the DŻEM SESSION in the GARDEN!
21 / 28 (Sundays), 18:00
Bonfire Sunday
As the name reveals, the Garden’s Sundays are for bonfire. We welcome all, young and older – hungry to prepare their bonfire food – those who are cold to use the warmth – those who miss the bonfire atmosphere to spend the evening with us. And last but not least, we welcome those who can play – do bring your instruments!
20 July (Saturday), 15:00
Floristics Workshop - ... made from what’s around us
We warmly invite you to floristics workshop with the master of floristics, Iwona Kalinowska. This won’t be a usual floristics workshop – instead of what’s at the florist or stores for professionals we will make our floristic compositions from what can be found around us.
Limited numer of participants.

We give you stage, sound system, screen and beamer, and finally several 5 minute silent movie clips to choose from. Once you’re in (duets too, are welcome!), we pair you up with another person, give you 5 minutes each to watch randomly chosen clip, and then … the music’s on.
Our audience will continue choosing winners of each battle until only the winner. The winner gets our suprise-prize!

Bloco Pomerania – Open Rehearsal
BLOCO POMERANIA is a powerful drum machine. We play carnival music from Rio called ‘samba batucada’. We’ve been captivated by the collective pulse of the rhythm. By playing the music we want to bring energy to ourselves and to all who join us.
This time we decided to rehearse in the “Neighborhood Garden” – come and join the fun, dance and listen. And if you’ll like Bloco Pomerania and you’ll want to join our machine, we’ll invite you to our next rehearsals. See you in the garden!
