12-15 of June: Second Workshop on Community Ubran Gardening
This will be our second workshop in the Garden for 10 participants from Poland and 10 from Germany. The workshops will be led by:
- Elena Brandes and Svenja Nette from prinzessinnengarten in Berlin, an urban garden in the center of Kreuzberg,
- Pippa Hill – schloss broellin E.v. – who, together with Urban Roots organization, participated in building a community urban garden in Glasgow,
- Lars Horger – long-time workshop partner of Pippa, especially regarding work with children and youth
- Marek Kowalczyk – documentary photographer, architecture photographer and time lapse films creator.

This weekend’s program includes:
For 10 Polish and 10 German participants:
- Workshop on community urban gardening (Elena Brandes and Svenja Nette)
- Workshop on community gardening (Pippa Hill)
- Workshop on documentary photography
Important:
- workshop on documentary photography will run in parallel to the two other workshops, and thus we’ll have a rotation of participants!
- if possible, please bring your own camera for the photography workshop
- participants of the workshop on urban gardening and community urban gardening are asked to bring working clothes, spare pair of shoes and gloves!
Open workshops:
- Workshop on gardening for children (10 participants, 6-12 years old: Elena Brandes i Svenja Nette)
- Workshop on community gardening for children (10 participants, 6-12 years old: Pippa Hill)
- Workshop on DJ-ing for children and youth (8 participants, 8-14 years old)
Important:
- Work/play during workshop on gardening and community gardening will involve “dirty” activities and so children should wear appropriate clothes!
